Team YMF

Team YMF

The Yoedsal Mindrolling Foundation (YMF) is working with a dedicated team of six elite members to bring the retreat centre project to life. Their goal is to create a sanctuary featuring 25 retreat huts and a grand congregation hall, designed for those seeking peace and mindfulness. Each member contributes unique expertise and dedication, ensuring thoughtful planning and execution. The retreat huts will offer serene, private spaces for meditation, while the congregation hall will serve as a central hub for teachings, group practices, and community events. This initiative reflects YMF’s commitment to providing a space where people from all backgrounds can experience the transformative benefits of meditation. With a vision of making mindfulness accessible to everyone, the foundation and its team aspire to establish a retreat centre that serves as a beacon of peace, offering guidance, inspiration, and spiritual growth to all who seek it.

Where Are We Located?

The Yoedsal Mindrolling Foundation’s retreat centre is nestled in the sacred valley of Bumthang, Bhutan, a place steeped in spiritual heritage. Located in the very land of Terton Pema Lingpa, one of Bhutan’s most revered treasure revealers, the centre is also adjacent to the Kurjey temple, which enshrines the body print of Guru Padmasambhava, a site of profound significance in Bhutanese Buddhism. This sacred location adds a deep spiritual resonance to the retreat centre, offering an unparalleled environment for meditation and mindfulness. Surrounded by the rich history and spiritual energy of Bumthang, visitors are provided with a unique opportunity to connect with the profound legacy of these great masters while engaging in their own journey of inner peace and enlightenment.

You Volunteer and you take benefit also, How?

At the Yoedsal Mindrolling Foundation (YMF), we actively welcome youth volunteers to join our retreat centre project, offering them a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience at no cost. By involving young people in this meaningful initiative, we aim to empower them with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in various aspects of project development, from construction and design to community engagement and event management.

Volunteering with YMF not only allows youths to contribute to a project that promotes mindfulness and well-being but also equips them with skills that can enhance their personal and professional growth. Through their involvement, young volunteers gain experience in teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and project management, all while being immersed in a spiritually enriching environment.

This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting the next generation by providing them with opportunities to learn, grow, and contribute to a project that has a positive impact on society.
