Biography of Dordzin Tulku

Tulku Dordzin Ugyen LhendupDordzin Tulku was born in 1988 in Thimphu, Bhutan. His father Dasho Dophu Tshering (Red Scarf) and Mother Ashi Jamyang Choden was the daughter of the Late Dasho Lam Dorji from the house of Tamzhing Choeji, Bumthang. The descendent of the great Terton Pema Lingpa,

In 1991, The great dzogchen master His Holiness Nyoshul Khen Rinpoche presented Longchenpas statue, text book of (Chos dbying rin po chei mdzod) The precious treasury of the basic space of phenomena, vajra and bell and a set of Tulkus robes  to Dordzin Tulku and conducted a traditional enthronement and named him Ugyen Tashi by recognizing Dordzin Tulku as one of the respected masters incarnation.     

His Holiness The 11th Min-drolling Trichen Jurme Kunzang Wangyal, Officially recognized Dordzin Tulku as the reincarnation of Min-drolling dorje zinpa (Minling Dordzin Dechen Choedzin) in 1992, Paro, Bhutan.

In 1994 Dordzin Tulku joined the Min-droling Monastery in Dehradun, India at the young age of six,  an officially ceremonial enthronement was held at the Min-droling Monastery presided over by His Holiness The 11th Min-drolling Trichen Rinpoche.

Dordzin Tulku was trained intensively by learnt ritual and liturgies from Min-drolling monastery, india and has completed his studies and training from both the scholastic institutions within the monastery, now Dordzin Tulku is teaching in some parts of Asia and practising on the same time with dzogchen practices, Dordzin Tulku had the opportunity to do retreats in India and Bhutan.
